There are a few reasons why you should add videos to your catalog.

  • The video catalog links the session builder and video analyzer to your videos.
  • You can add videos to multiple folders, without having to upload the video several times.
  • Easily drag and drop videos from one folder to another.
  • Cataloging your videos in your own folder structures makes them easier to find.

You can add videos hosted on your video hub only

When you upload your videos to your video hub channel, then your video will be played without any annoying overlays.

Adding a video from your video hub channel
1. Open your video hub, if its not already loaded.
2. Click "My Videos" on the left hand menu
3. Locate the videos you want to add and click the folder icon, as shown below to automatically add the video to your video catalog.

When you click this button, the video is automatically added to your catalog system.
Notes:
1: If you are an academy user, then the video is added to "My Videos" on your home drive.

2: If you are using the personal edition, then the video is added to your kwikdrive.

3: When you add a video to the catalog, the "add to catalog" button won't appear unless it is deleted from the catalog.

4: When you delete a video from your videohub channel it is removed from the catalog as well.

7. Double click the video, and make sure it plays ok.

Notice that the player used, is the 3rd party hosted player.

That's it. You should now be able to start creating your video catalog.
