Allowing recorder access to your microphone

To start recording online, you need to allow the software to access your screen, webcam, and microphone. If you have previously blocked access, you need to unblock it in your browser settings. Here's a quick guide to how to do it.
Choose your browser
Google Chrome
Step 1. Open the Browser Settings
Go to the Google Chrome settings. Go to the Privacy and Security section and open the Site Settings tab
Step 2. Unblock Access
Open the Camera section. In the Block field, you’ll see the Screen Capture webpage. Click on the trash can to unblock the screen recorder.
Do the same with your microphone. The Microphone section is right below the Camera section.
Step 3. Start New Recording
Return to the Screen Capture web page. Set up the recording parameters and start recording.
The browser will request access to your microphone. Allow access and continue recording.
Mozilla Firefox
Step 1. Click on the Microphone icon
At the left end of the search bar, you’ll see the Microphone icon. Click on it. The settings tab will appear on your screen.
Step 2. Unblock the microphone
In the Permissions section, you’ll see that screen sharing is temporarily blocked. Hit the “x” to unblock it.
Step 3. Start New Recording
Return to the Session Recorder. Set up the recording parameters and start recording. The browser will request access to your screen. Allow access and continue recording.
Microsoft Edge
Step 1. Go to the System Settings
Open the Start menu on your computer and go to Settings. Now go to Privacy.
Step 2. Allow Access
On the Privacy tab, you should see the Microphone. On these tabs, you can choose which apps can have access to your webcam and mic. Switch on Microsoft Edge.
Step 3. Make your Recording
Now go back to the session recorder and start a new recording.
Safari Browser
Step 1. Open the Settings
Open the Settings window and go to the Website settings. Here you’ll see the Sites advanced settings. Click on it.
Step 2. Delete the Ban
Go to Microphone and open the Site settings. Switch to the Not allowed tab and remove the ban on Access your microphone.
Step 3. Go back to the session recorder and record your session.
When asked, allow access to the microphone..
