Setting up coach links with other members

On hooptactix, every member gets their own Work Folders on the cloud.
These are Project, Image, Video and Session
The project work folder is used to store your project files that you create in the session planner.
The Image work folder is where you export or create your image libraries.
The Video work folder is where you add videos to your catalogue
The Session work folder is where you save your session plans.
What are Coach Links?
Coach links are links to other members work folders, so you are granting them "read only" access to your work folders.
If you create a work folder with another member, then you are granting them access to your own work folders. This does not mean you will get access to their folders. So whoever you create a coach link for, will need to create a coach link for you the same way.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create, edit and delete a coach link.
hooptactix Personal Edition users
You can create any amount of coach links as you like.
1. Open your cloud manager app
2. Now click the + icon on the coach link tab to open "create new coach link window"
5. Once you have the folders selected, hit the "Create Link" button.
An email will be generated to the user you created a link for, and you should notice the new coach link has been added to your cloud manager (in the coach link section)
That’s it, you have created a coach link.
Modifying coach links
You can at any time, modify your coach links by click on the "folder" icon at the side of the users coach link you created.
This will bring up the coach link window for that user.
Simply select or deselect the folders you want to change access to, and hit the "update" button to save changes.
Deleting coach links
To delete coach links, and someone from accessing your folder, simply click the red "X" button at the side of their name.
This will bring up the delete coach link window.
Press "Delete" to go ahead and delete the coach link.
That’s it, you should now be able to create coach links with anyone you want.

Ok, let’s go and create a coach link.hooptactix Academy Edition users
You can create coach links, however your academy director has to allow it.
If you see a message saying "Please request this access from the academy director" on your cloud portal, then you will need to get the academy director to enable the function for you.
1. Open your cloud manager app
2. Now click the + icon on the coach link tab to open "create new coach link window"
3. Add the email address of the person you want to create the coach link for in the email address input box.Notice that you can see your 4 main work folders (project, image, session and video), and they are all currently red. Which mean they are disables.
4. Now select the folders you want to share by clicking on them. (They should appear green)Remember, that you can only create coach links with existing members. So make sure the user you are creating a coach link for is using hooptactix.
5. Once you have the folders selected, hit the "Create Link" button.
An email will be generated to the user you created a link for, and you should notice the new coach link has been added to your cloud manager (in the coach link section)
That’s it, you have created a coach link.
