Session Planner Overview
The session planner, is a fully featured designer tool, comprising of 4 main components
These are the canvas, item, tool and function
The canvas uses a multi-layered system, with a background component which you load a background image into.
You then add items onto the canvas which appear on top of the background.
An item, can be either a marker from the marker menu, a shape from the tool menu, or text using the text tool.
And no matter what item you use, it is placed onto the canvas in the form of a layer.
When you add a layer to the canvas, it is always added as the front layer on top of any others.
Layers can be moved, copied, pasted, locked grouped, aligned and distributed when they are on the canvas.
With marker layers, you can additionally rotate, mirror, expand, shrink, and ghost them when they are on the canvas.
While shape and text layers, can be edited and have their colour changed.
The tool component, allows you to draw shapes and text on the canvas.
Available drawing tools are, from top to bottom:
Selector tool: which allows you to select and highlight layers on the canvas.
Standard line tool allows you to draw standard lines onto the canvas.
Dashed line too allows you to draw lines with a dash in them.
Wavy line tool allows you to draw wavy lines onto the canvas.

And the file function, allows you to save and load project files.
In total, there are over 1000 functions available to use in the session planner.
But the most common ones are:
The function you'll use the most is the file function, which handles all file operations like opening and saving project files with the file manager. Loading background images, and adding custom markers using the canvas and marker managers. And it also handles, saving exported images into your image library.
The tool functions, which appear at the bottom of the session planner when you select a tool. You can turn tool functions on and off when creating or editing shapes, markers and text by clicking on the function buttons.
